The Association of Otolaryngologists of India

The Association of Otolaryngologists of India (AOI) was founded in 1948 with the collective efforts of visionary ENT surgeons who sought to bring unity, academic focus, and ethical values into otolaryngology practice. Their initiative shaped the organization into a central pillar for ENT professionals nationwide.
Over the decades, AOI has continued to uphold excellence in surgical skill development, academic research, and collaborative engagement. With its present headquarters located in Nagpur, the association ensures smooth coordination of national activities through a dedicated leadership team.
Today, AOI actively publishes "The Indian Journal of Otolaryngology & Head – Neck Surgery", which reflects the best of ENT clinical and research-based advancements in India. The organization encourages meaningful participation of postgraduate students, young consultants, and researchers by creating avenues for growth through seminars, academic events, and mentorship.
